For parents
Does it really help, or does it do the homework for them?
The questions a parent asks of a tool like this one, and our answers, as they stand today.
What does my child actually do in Coach?
They open a chapter for their year. The lesson starts from an example linked to their interests, with the Companion beside it for their questions. Then a series of exercises, which they write out line by line in a maths field, as on paper. At the end of the series, they click “Correct”.
A session covers one notion. It ends with the correction.
See a sample correctionWhat happens when they get it wrong?
During the series, nothing is flagged. At correction time, each exercise gets its points and written feedback: what was done right, the analysis of the error (a length added instead of a square, a root forgotten at the end), suggestions, and the detailed solution to compare. They can redo the series.
The error is described, with no red cross, so they know what to rework.
Does the AI give them the answers?
During an exercise, the Companion is designed to guide without giving the final answer: a rephrasing, a hint, a similar example. The exercise’s solution is not passed to the model, and an automatic check rejects a reply that would contain it. The full solution appears after the correction, once your child has written their answer.
No tool stops a student from looking for the answer elsewhere. In Coach, the correction covers what they wrote themselves.
Does it follow what they do in class?
Coach follows the Ministry of Education’s official maths programmes, published in the Bulletin officiel, 6e to Terminale. The chapters available for each year are listed in the app.
Coach covers maths. Other subjects are planned; they will be announced here when they exist.
What if the AI gets it wrong?
It can. Exercises are generated within the curriculum and pass automatic checks before being shown; Brevet and Bac practice papers are also solved blind by a second model. Corrections are written by the AI from your child’s work. If you see an error, write to us through the contact form: we fix it, and we reply.
How do I know they’re making progress?
Each lesson shows its stage: discovered, assimilated, restituted, mastered. On the lesson page, the performance analysis shows the latest mark, the correction feedback and the history of attempts. All of it is visible from your child’s account.
In developmentA parent space is in development.Does it make them dependent, or independent?
A notion is validated when your child succeeds without help, at the exam and then the challenge. Coach sends no notification to bring them back and keeps no daily streaks. Over time, they need less help on each notion.

What the pilots show, and what they don’t show yet.
In our pilot classes, teachers reported better retention of the notions among students using Coach. This is teachers’ feedback, with no control group.
Try Coach with your child.
Free during the beta, no bank card. The account is created in the application, in the student’s name; you can do it together, and read the first correction with them.
